In August, Dundurn Press will publish Salvage, my second novel, a noirish thriller set on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, my favourite part of the world.
I’m planning a launch Aug. 13 at the Rope Loft in Chester. I hope to do a few more readings in Nova Scotia in the following days, and maybe an event or two in Ontario later in August.
I’m excited for the world to meet my book, because I’ve been working on it since 2008, when I sailed my old sailboat down the Ottawa River to Voyageur Provincial Park, dropped the anchor in a little cove and started typing, powering my laptop with a gas generator.
